Misc. Projects: All grades

Sometimes pictures are hard to get by in a classroom full of students...so I end up with these single pictures of projects, wishing I would've taken more! But nevertheless, they are here to be remembered...

Symmetry the fun way! 5th and 6th graders.

Highlights and shadows exercise, observation drawing.
We actually spend weeks with an egg in the room!
5th and 6th graders.

1st grade
2nd grade

First watercolor project for 1st grade! Great job.

Blind Contour drawing!  4th grade.

Tints and Shades: 1st

Great way to introduce the little ones to advance
concepts of highlights and shadows. Along with tints and shades.
Work done by 1st grade student :)

Sunset City: 1st

This project was a follow up to our texture lesson. It was great to see how happy kids got when doing their sponge sunset background. We talked about cityscapes, silhouettes and warm colors. Below pictures of the entire process.
A variation to a Pinterest find!
