Stuart Davis Inspired Collage: 2nd
After learning about Stuart Davis, students picked a color scheme selection of papers for their collage. |
Students cut out pieces without tracing them first, which made the whole process a lot easier. |
Great Job! Everyone was successful on this project! |
Out of this World Color Wheel: 5th - 6th
Amazing what kids come up with when given a little bit of freedom. For this project students had to create a unique Tertiary Color Wheel. Since the project required lots of thinking and individual planning, it was given as a homework after doing some classroom practice. Here are some of the great results!
Students were free to use any materials they wanted. |

Kandinsky for little: 1st
Learning about color mixing with Kandinsky. Students only got primary colors, the rest was up to them! |
Op Art Tubes w/ Shading: 5th-6th
One of those projects I had to try for myself! Art with Mr.E gives more details on it if you want to try as well. |
Students saw the example first, after lots of "WOW!", we went through step by step instructions on the board. |
The results were exquisite! they loved doing it although some couldn't handle the patience required for it. |
Project also included the selection of a color family or color scheme. |
